I am a recent graduate of NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering where I was earned a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. While attending as an undergrad, I had the honor of tutoring at the Polytechnic Tutoring Center for groups of students that attend NYU. There, I tutored General Chemistry for Engineers, General Chemistry 1 and 2, as well as Physical Chemistry. I was also a volunteer for Women for Afghan Women and had the opportunity to tutor and mentor children who were often underprivileged and came from a troubled family environment. Here, I tutored Middle School Mathematics, Algebra 2, Biology, and SAT Prep for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. I value giving each student the individual attention and patience needed to incorporate his or her learning style; I wish to blossom the students' belief in themselves to allow them to reach their highest potentials. I have a passion for teaching, and I am always eager to meet new faces and discuss ways to generate positive change in the world. I reside in Fresh Meadows, NY, and I enjoy watching and engaging in sports; football is my favorite, and I am definitely a Giants fan! I also have interest in the arts, medicine, and Science.
